The Public Works/Road Department provides the county and its citizens with quality maintenance of the road system. They also man and oversee the dumpsites in Jeff Davis County. Jeff Davis County does not offer trash pick-up, but dumpsites are available throughout the county, as listed below:
- Alma Dumpsite - Alma Hwy
- Denton Dumpsite - Hwy 221 in Denton
- Snipesville Dumpsite - Intersection of Hwy 107 and 268
- Pat Dixon Dumpsite - Nina Gay Road
- Hallspur Dumpsite - Hallspur Road
- Altamaha Dumpsite - Altamaha Road
The Road Department office is located at 23 Moore Street.
